Peter has degrees in both physics and education and has won numerous awards for teaching excellence.  Darth Vader he isn't - but Peter doesn't hesitate to dress as the Star Wars villain, whip out some shaving cream or fire up a leaf-blower to illustrate a point to students.

It's precisely that committed and energetic approach to teaching that has earned him prestigious national recognition including the Teaching Excellence Award from the Association of Canadian Community Colleges.
